What Goes Into the Work

LED retrofit kits are designed to fit standard niche sizes used in most residential pools built over the last few decades, making upgrades straightforward in the majority of cases.

Color-changing fixtures typically offer a fixed palette of preset colors and effects (fade, strobe, color sync across multiple fixtures) controlled through a wall switch or app.

Fixed-white LED fixtures are available in different color temperatures, from warm white for a softer ambiance to cool white for brighter, more functional lighting.

Low-voltage transformers and wiring are used throughout for safety, since pool lighting circuits have stricter code requirements than standard household lighting.

Fixture housings are rated specifically for constant water submersion, which is a different standard than fixtures rated only for occasional wet-location exposure.

Wiring runs are planned to minimize trenching across existing decking wherever the layout allows, keeping the retrofit process as non-disruptive as possible.
