Equipment upgrades are something we build into nearly every remodel and new construction project, residential and commercial alike, rather than a service most clients call in for entirely on its own. Old, single-speed equipment is one of the biggest hidden costs of owning a pool, so whenever we’re already working on a pool, we make sure the equipment pad is part of the plan.

That said, if your pool doesn’t need a full remodel but a pump, filter, or heater has failed or is due for an upgrade, we do handle that on its own too. We size and configure the system to your pool, not a one-size-fits-all setup pulled from a catalog.

Modern equipment has also gotten a lot smarter. Automation systems now let you control pumps, heaters, lighting, and water features from your phone, and adjust schedules on the fly instead of walking out to the equipment pad.

Cartridge filters are lower-maintenance for most homeowners, while DE (diatomaceous earth) filters offer the finest filtration for pools with heavier bather load or debris.

Heat pump heaters are more energy-efficient for extending swim season in mild climates, while gas heaters heat faster and work better for occasional or short-notice heating needs.

We walk you through basic troubleshooting, like what a particular error light or automation alert means, before we leave, so a minor issue doesn’t turn into an unnecessary service call.

If anything doesn’t perform as expected in the first few weeks, we’d rather hear about it early while it’s likely still a simple adjustment rather than a bigger issue.
